DNSE recorded a derivatives brokerage market share of 26.62% in Q3/2026, reaching its highest level since entering the market, while extending its run in the Top 2 to eight consecutive quarters.
Record-high derivatives market share
According to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), DNSE Securities recorded a derivatives brokerage market share of 26.62% in Q3/2026, up 1.24 percentage points from the previous quarter. This marked the highest market share DNSE has achieved since entering the derivatives market.
DNSE first entered the Top 2 in derivatives brokerage market share in Q4/2024, approximately 18 months after launching its derivatives trading feature. Since then, the company has maintained this position for eight consecutive quarters through Q3/2026, while steadily narrowing the gap with the market leader.
DNSE's derivatives brokerage market share reached 26.62%, up 1.24 percentage points from the previous quarter.
The expansion in market share has coincided with DNSE's continued investment in technology platforms, trading infrastructure and tools designed to support investors. The technology-driven securities firm has also consistently ranked among the market leaders in new account openings and recently reached the milestone of 2 million users in Q3/2026.
Technology advantages behind DNSE's Top 2 derivatives position
Given the market's rapid and continuous fluctuations, derivatives trading requires both stable order processing and investors' ability to actively manage their positions and margin ratios.
DNSE developed its Future X derivatives product with a focus on optimizing order execution speed, system stability and trade-level risk management tools. This approach allows investors to monitor individual positions in detail and manage their trading strategies more proactively.
Investors can track real-time profits and losses, including taxes and fees, while managing margin ratios for each individual trade (Deal). The system also issues alerts when margin ratios reach critical thresholds, helping users review and adjust their positions in a timely manner.
In addition, automated take-profit and stop-loss features allow investors to set thresholds based on their chosen strategies. These tools reduce the need for manual intervention and help investors maintain trading discipline, particularly during periods of rapid market movements.
In 2026, the program introduced separate leaderboards for professional and novice investors, creating opportunities for participants with different levels of experience to take part. The Live Battle – Derivatives Trading Challenge was also broadcast live, allowing viewers to follow experienced investor contestants as they selected positions, responded to market movements and handled trading situations.
The final round of Live Battle - Derivatives Trading Challenge is scheduled to take place live on stage at Future Tech Summit 2026, an event organized by DNSE in Ho Chi Minh City in late November. The event will bring the competition from the online environment to a live audience, while providing an additional opportunity for the investor community to connect and exchange trading experience.
