On the afternoon of November 21, 2025, the DNSE Future Tech Summit took place in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together many renowned finance–technology experts and over 200 investors
The spotlight of the event was the challenge of market operations in the context of upcoming T+0 implementation and extended trading hours, helping investors adapt to a “zero-latency” trading environment.
The market enters the “era of speed” – demanding new infrastructure and data standards
At the event, Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Chairman of DNSE, stated that the era of intraday trading is defined by three factors: “Speed – Seamless – Sync”- order processing speed, frictionless trading, and synchronized real-time market data. Minimizing information latency is crucial for securities firms so that investors can fully benefit from T+0 and reduce risks in a high-speed trading environment.
“That is why DNSE has focused on investing in technology over the past five years to prepare a robust technical foundation for the market ahead. DNSE’s current order processing speed is 3.9 milliseconds,” Mr. Giang shared.

Mr. Giang emphasized that T+0 and short-selling of pending securities will bring major changes to how the market operates and how investors make decisions. In this transformation, technology will be the key to helping investors reduce risks driven by trading psychology and better capture opportunities.
Infrastructure – Data – Open API: The trio that unlocks high-speed trading
Speaking about technology infrastructure, the top priority in this new phase - Ms. Li Wen Wong, Senior Director in charge of IBM LinuxONE and Linux on IBM Z for IBM Asia-Pacific, stated that in the era of high-speed trading, powerful and secure servers are essential to reducing latency and enhancing trading performance. DNSE is a pioneer in Vietnam in adopting IBM’s solutions to ensure speed, availability, and security, while reducing costs and advancing its technology system toward international standards.

From the perspective of optimizing user experience in this new era, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Bình - Chief Technology Officer of DNSE Securities introduced DNSE’s new Open API solution at the event. In recent years, DNSE has been a pioneer in integrating APIs with partners such as Zalopay, FiinTrade, TradingView, and others, delivering a “one-touch, multi-platform” securities trading experience.

With DNSE’s new API product, active traders can build their own strategies, access real-time market data, and integrate AI to optimize trading performance - all with just 5–10 lines of code.
The API is specifically designed to fully leverage DNSE’s speed advantage, ensuring the fastest order routing to the Exchange, enhanced security, and compatibility with DNSE’s deal-based margin management system.
DNSE also plans to introduce a Co-location Host service that connects clients directly to DNSE’s systems for high-frequency trading. This will reduce market data latency to below 1 millisecond and order latency to 3-5 milliseconds, preparing for a continuous intraday trading environment with rapid capital rotation and increasing intraday risk management needs.
Discussing the power of data and the rise of quantitative trading, Mr. Võ Duy Anh - Founder & CEO of AlgoTrade stated:
“When the market operates at millisecond speed, investors can no longer process all information consistently on their own. Data, models, and algorithms will increasingly become the center of decision-making.”
Mr. Duy Anh predicted that 2026-2030 will be the ideal period for quantitative trading to flourish in Vietnam, supported by expanded APIs and direct connectivity to the matching engine (co-location).
During the panel discussion, speakers agreed that technology trends such as super apps, data-driven automated trading, and quantitative strategies will continue to accelerate. Many investors raised questions about opportunities, risks, and how newcomers can adapt to these new trading tools.
A special highlight of the event was the first-ever live Esports derivatives trading competition, hosted by DNSE on stage. The contest gathered top performers from the long-running “Lướt sóng phái sinh” tournament, bringing investors an energetic atmosphere and a hands-on look at high-speed trading powered by advanced technology.
In the end, the investor with the nickname Heo won decisively with a 100% win rate, 8 opening trades, a total profit score of 12.87, and a prize of 100 million VND.
With the participation of respected speakers and live demonstrations of new trading technologies, the DNSE Future Tech Summit offered investors a comprehensive perspective to prepare for the era of high-speed trading, where the investor experience is redefined by technology, data, and seamless connectivity.
